GetThere plans to provide to customers access to Tata Communications' network of Telepresence rooms. Part of GetThere's set of " collaboration" services, the deal would enable GetThere customers to reserve one of Tata's public or private Telepresence locations at a "pay-per-use hourly rate." Tata's network currently includes 15 public rooms throughout Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, India and North America. The company expects to expand that number to "over 30" by year-end. GetThere and Tata said pilot testing would begin "shortly, with plans for a broader rollout later in 2010."

If you start unbundling your product too much, you lose the right to call yourself a full-service airline. On the other hand, if you basically are not exploiting the ancillary possibilities, you're finding yourself increasingly in a loss-making position. Worse still, you run the risk of being neither low cost nor full service and then nobody really knows what you are offering.
